About the Role

Clutch is on a mission to turn Credit Unions into FinTechs, making them their members’ first choice.

Our Digital Account Opening product is core to that mission. Since launch in 2023, it’s become a mission-critical solution for credit unions, driving rapid adoption, membership growth, and market leadership. And we’re just getting started.

We’re hiring a Group Product Manager (Staff PM) to lead and scale our Account Opening product across both digital and in-branch channels

This Player-Coach role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments and is hungry to make an outsized impact. You'll lead by example as a hands-on PM for one pod while coaching and mentoring two PMs on the team.

We want someone who is deeply familiar with the account opening space and can hit the ground running.

What You'll Do

Within 3 months, you will:

This is a high leverage role in a fast-moving product that which demands rapid onboarding

  • Rapidly ramp up on Clutch’s product, customers, and industry.

  • Hit the ground running leveraging your domain knowledge

  • Drive execution: ship impactful features, partner launches, and customer onboarding milestones.

  • Scale DAO across our growing customer base and ensure smooth go-lives

  • Coach and level up the two PMs on your team.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted leader within the product team and company.

  • Integrate DAO tightly with other Clutch products to create a seamless member journey.

  • Act as a thought partner to Sales and CX, contributing to customer strategy and GTM enablement.

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Identify new product opportunities within and beyond account opening.

  • Strengthen the product’s strategic position as a driver of growth for Clutch and its customers.

What You'll Bring

  • 7–9 years of Product Management experience, at least 2 years leading teams as a player/coach

  • Domain depth or rapid learnability in banking, onboarding, identity, compliance, or consumer fintech. Prior account opening experience is a major plus.

  • Bias for action You’ve shipped complex products in fast-moving environments and know how to keep execution tight even in ambiguity.

  • Customer obsession You know how to uncover root problems, and translate insight into roadmap.

  • Hands-on builder You're not afraid to write the spec, run the QA, or take a sales call when needed.

  • Full-stack product mindset From vision to metrics, from discovery to delivery, from config tooling to UI polish.

  • Leadership through clarity Whether influencing without authority or coaching a PM, you bring focus and momentum.

  • Experience navigating complex B2B2C environments is a plus.

  • Most importantly: You are hungry to build, eager to learn fast, and want to lead a product that is scaling but still early enough to leave your fingerprints.
