- Manage a budget against team goals you will define, as measured by KPIs you will also define
- Hire and manage a talented team of developer advocatesWork cross-functionally with our Events team to plan and execute on meetups, hackathons, and developer events
- Provide market and developer feedback to the documentation and technical writing team
- Conduct internal user acceptance testing, providing feedback to the product team
- Create programs that drive developer education and engagement, such as early-access user testing and Quicknode ambassadors for community-driven advocacy
- Collaborate with the Product team to build a scalable structure for our developer audience to share insights about their feedback
- Work with product marketing to position new products and increase product adoption
- Lead the team that prepares technical content for YouTube demos, engineering-centric blog posts, hackathons, and more
- This role requires regular travel to industry events. While conference schedules vary with the seasons, it is to be expected that you will be attending at least one or two in-person events per month
What You'll Bring
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Developer Advocacy / Developer Relations
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams
- Ability and experience headlining large events and conferences
- A passion for Web3 that can attract and inspire our developer community
- Experience with smart contract programming languages and fluency in one or more programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or Ruby
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in developer advocacy platforms, communities, and initiatives
- Desire to engage with technical audiences online and in-person
- Empathy with technical audiences, and an ability to articulate their needs to product teams
- Familiarity with API concepts like RPC, REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, OpenAPI, and OAuth
