OneLocal is looking to hire Ad Creative Freelancer (Google & Meta) on a short-contract basis to support the production of high-performing Google, Facebook and Instagram ads for SMB clients using our OneSite platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create multiple ad variations per brief, including static, carousel, and Reels/Stories formats.
- Translate OneSite branding and templates into Meta-ready ad units that are aligned across website and ad creative.
- Write ad copy including headlines, body text, and CTAs that follow Meta best practices and performance-driven storytelling.
- Build and export ad creative assets to Meta specifications (proper sizing, formatting, etc.) and hand off final files to the trafficking team.
- Rapidly produce mocks and prototypes using Adobe CC, Canva, Figma, or similar tools, including basic editing of stock, UGC, or branded assets.
- Present creative concepts with clear rationale based on audience insights and campaign goals.
- Collaborate with media buyers to run A/B test plans and iterate creative based on performance data.
- Participate in post-campaign reviews to identify what worked, what didn’t, and opportunities for creative improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on Meta advertising policies, placements, and platform specs (including Meta Pixel requirements).
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience producing Meta Ad creatives, either in-house or at an agency.
- A portfolio showcasing full-funnel ad concepts that led to measurable performance results (e.g. CTR, ROAS, lead volume).
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and at least one rapid production tool (e.g. Figma, Canva).
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write concise, conversion-oriented copy under Meta’s character limits.
- A solid understanding of Meta Ads Manager, including creative specs, placement formats, and objectives.
- Strong grasp of performance-creative fundamentals (hook, offer, social proof, urgency).
- Comfortable presenting creative ideas, accepting feedback, and making quick iterations.
Nice to Have
- Basic video editing skills for Reels and Stories (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut).
- Experience creating storyboards and directing short-form motion content.
- Familiarity with UGC-style ads and influencer content collaboration workflows.
We will be paying at a rate of USD $8 per hour.
