About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our small but mighty Talent team at Sardine. This role is more than just filling roles — you’ll be a strategic partner to our Engineering and Product orgs, helping us attract and hire exceptional technical talent as we scale. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and leadership to shape hiring strategy, drive key searches, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
What you’ll be doing
Own the full-cycle hiring process—from outreach to offer—with a relentless focus on candidate experience, speed, and quality.
Independently manage stakeholder expectations for top-of-funnel initiatives across Product Engineering and AI/ML teams, aligning closely with hiring managers to drive strategic hiring in high-impact technical areas.
Drive hiring velocity through proactive pipeline building, tight process management, and clear communication with stakeholders.
Provide hiring teams with market insights, funnel data, and recruiting best practices to inform decision-making.
Help shape Sardine’s employer brand and outreach narrative for technical candidates.
What you’ll need
5–8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in high-growth, product-led tech environments.
Proven ability to hire across engineering domains (e.g., backend, infrastructure, AI/ML, security), ideally with exposure to fintech or early-stage startups.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
A clear, compelling communication style—both written and verbal.
High ownership mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
Experience with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Notion is a plus!
Compensation: Base pay range 150,000 - 190,000 CAD + Series C equity with tremendous upside potential + Attractive benefits
The compensation offered for this role will depend on various factors, including the candidate's location, qualifications, work history, and interview performance, and may differ from the stated range.
