CloudLinux is looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This remote opportunity is ideal for professionals located in Europe and CIS who are passionate about cloud technologies and can contribute to building and maintaining our innovative infrastructure solutions. As a Systems Engineer, you'll work extensively with various Linux distributions and gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructures, automation, and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using various platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and share innovative ideas to enhance our services.

You will work with:

  • Linux server environments (CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • Container orchestration solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Networking concepts including firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
