About the role
Join our small but mighty Finance team as a Senior Strategic Finance Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our capabilities, and spearheading intricate strategic initiatives. In this unique opportunity, you will navigate and support our high-velocity, high-efficiency approach to achieving our goals.
Circle is on a determined mission to reach a $100M run-rate within the next 5 years, all while maintaining profitability. Collaborating closely with our Head of Finance, and only one-level removed from our Leadership team, you will contribute significantly to expanding Circle's financial planning and analysis capabilities. Your efforts will empower our leadership team with the essential forecasting and analysis required to successfully meet our plan.

What you'll be doingServe as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance, and work closely with Circle’s leadership team.Own the financial models used by Circle for decision making, operationalization of strategy, and monitoring of company progress against plan.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.Work closely with the Data team as they build out Circle’s data environment to ensure that Finance has the proper data to meet FP&A requirements, now and in the future.Conduct analysis of key performance indicators, operational metrics, and business trends, translating the data into actionable insights and recommendations.Prepare and present financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for Leadership.Assist as needed with monthly financial reporting processes, as well as quarterly and annual financial planning.Participate in the financial due diligence for fundraising opportunities (if any).Undertake impactful ad hoc analyses and special projects as they arise.,
What you'll need to be successfulStrong alignment with our values. Find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet.You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, with experience in SaaS.You have exposure to a lot of companies, spanning several industries. For example, a background in VC.Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.You are highly self-directed and curious.Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and experience with financial software systems.You are proficient in financial modeling and analysis.You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.You are a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, and be able to work both independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.You sweat the details --You are mindful with how reports are presented, and you are concerned with the integrity of the data and analyses.You are passionate about startups, and excited about Circle’s potential.You see yourself as a builder, and ready to get involved hands-on at an early stage.,
