Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Drive financial strategy, modeling, forecasting, and performance metrics in alignment with company goals. Translate business priorities into a sustainable and scalable financial framework.Capital Management: Lead fundraising initiatives and investor relations in close partnership with the CEO. Ensure we are capitalized for the next stage of growth and well-positioned to seize future opportunities.Operational Excellence: Own all financial operations including FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, audit, and risk management. Build a disciplined financial culture that supports rapid growth without sacrificing rigor.Business Partnership: Partner across product, sales, operations, and customer success to align financial strategy with day-to-day execution. Support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.Team Building: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team. Mentor future finance leaders and instill a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.Compliance & Governance: Ensure all reporting and regulatory requirements are met with precision. Prepare the company for future stages of maturity including potential IPO readiness.Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in a high-growth SaaS environment, ideally at the Series C and on stages.Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, pricing models, and enterprise customer dynamics.High level of comfort using LLMs and modern A.I. tools; a “new generation” mindset around financial toolingSuccessful track record of scaling finance operations and leading capital raises.Strong command of financial systems, controls, and compliance in a startup-to-growth transition.A balance of analytical rigor, commercial savvy, and operational grit.Experience with setting up global entitiesExceptional communication skills—confident and clear in executive rooms, board meetings, and Company All Hands meetings.A steady hand in ambiguity, with a bias for action and a readiness to tackle hard truths head-on.Experience with Carta, Ramp, Netsuite, and Planful is ideal.
