About the Team
This role sits in our Acceleration department, home to the people who drive ecosystem growth by building tools, integrations, and partnerships across the Polkadot network.
Reporting into our Product Development Manager, you’ll be joining the Solution Engineering team. We design and build web applications and developer tools that make it easy, intuitive, and enjoyable to interact with the Polkadot network and its ecosystem.
About the Role
As a Web App Developer, you’ll build and maintain high-quality, user-friendly web applications that connect developers and users to Polkadot. You’ll collaborate across engineering, design, and product teams to deliver interfaces and tools that empower the broader Web3 community.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications, products and developer tools for the Polkadot ecosystem.
Work closely with designers and core engineers to deliver seamless and visually engaging user experiences that remain true to the Web3 ethos.
Integrate applications with blockchain APIs and decentralized infrastructure.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using TypeScript, React, Solidity and related frameworks.
Contribute to Parity’s open-source projects, participating in reviews and architecture discussions to build true Web3 products.
Your Skills
Proven experience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications (ideally with TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks).
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and modern build pipelines.
Familiarity with Rust, WebAssembly (Wasm), or blockchain API integrations.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, open-source environment, contributing to shared codebases and reviews.
