About the role:
We’re looking to hire a full-time, remote Video Editor to join our creative team. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your hours and work and learn with a team of world-class designers, through a commitment to team collaboration, communication, and product quality.
Seniority Level: Junior
Responsibilities:
Lead the video editing process from start to finish
Edit and organize raw video footage
Collaborate with other departments and teams
Develop video concepts and storyboards
Enhance video’s visual and audio quality
Create and implement video style guides
Stay updated with current emerging trends and techniques
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an editor
Expert knowledge in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
Strong sense of visual storytelling
Can manage multiple post-production projects at the same time
Great interpersonal skills, good judgment, and comfortable working with other creatives and management
Has an understanding of devices, frame rates, codecs, file formats, and cameras
Has an understanding of the post-production timeline: Offline Edit, Online Edit, Animation, Sound Design, and Color Grading
