About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Operations Partner to join our People Team. We are building a global team of world class talent and are looking for an organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with our internal teams and stakeholders. You will manage our full employee life-cycle, including onboarding, internal people operations and employee experience. Our ideal candidate is passionate about innovation and takes initiative to ensure the health and growth of our employees. You will be proactive at kick starting initiatives from scratch; analysing problems and delivering solutions where precedent may not exist. 

 

In this role you will

  • Serve as a crucial point of contact and support for all Duners and team leaders

  • Manage the People Operations function with our EOR (Deel), such as onboarding / offboarding, benefit & compensation administration, visa-related requests, payroll, time off requests, and performance management

  • Use data insights from our Company Surveys to identify, recommend, and implement company policies, programs, and processes that preserve and enhance Dune’s culture

  • Work with Deel to ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations

  • Plan and execute on virtual and irl team engagement events, which promote a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven culture e.g. our weekly virtual sessions, and our regular irl meetups.

  • Be a trusted resource to employees and managers by handling questions related to policies and processes; handle sensitive employee information with discretion

  • Identify, escalate, and navigate employee relations and communication issues with an empathetic, objective, solution-oriented approach

  • Support the delivery of bi-annual performance reviews


You might be a great fit for this role if you have 

  • ~3-5 years of People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company / start-up at a similar stage (series B)

  • You have successfully developed new and/or improved people operations programs in one or more of the following areas: recruiting, diversity and inclusion, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, retention, culture initiatives, compensation, benefits.

  • Experience building, maintaining and presenting People data analytics

  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people

  • You have exceptional communication skills and are able to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat

  • You see pain points as an opportunity to innovate and get better, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience

  • You are open & approachable, allowing you to make personal connections and explore employee needs all while efficiently navigating resources, systems, and relevant data to resolve inquiries quickly
