What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the manual software testing efforts, overseeing the creation of test plans, test cases, and their execution to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies
- Manage the QA team, distributing workload, setting goals for QA engineers, and conducting performance reviews for team members
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects and anomalies, and track them through resolution
- Define and maintain test environments, ensuring they are properly set up and configured for accurate testing
- Participate in the establishment of QA processes
- Participate in reviews of software requirements, design documents, and system architecture to provide feedback and ensure testing requirements are addressed
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing coaching and support to help them enhance their skills
- Collaborate with automation engineers to develop and execute automated test scripts, as appropriate
What We Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and executing tests to ensure software quality
- Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools
- Experience with QA processes establishment
- Experience with QA management, including setting goals and conducting performance reviews for the team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
