Job Description

At Douro Labs, we build the teams behind some of the most ambitious infrastructure in crypto. We’re a product-driven powerhouse, deeply involved in building the Pyth Network, the Fogo Chain, and multiple other high-impact Web3 projects. We move fast, ship often, and protect our culture as we scale.

We’re hiring a hands-on, pragmatic HR Business Partner to work directly with our Head of People and the whole Ops team, helping them scale the company without losing its edge.

This role focuses on execution, ownership, and getting the job done.

Ego stays out. Work gets done.

About Our Team and Your Role

We’re a well-rounded team: half of us are tech whizzes, while the other half excel in building partnerships with data providers, developers, and the DeFi community. Communication is key to our network-driven approach.

Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia, with an optional office in Porto, Portugal, and Singapore. Remote work is the norm here.

Language Proficiency: English proficiency is essential, as it’s our primary language of communication.

Startup-level speed: We thrive in the dynamic DeFi space and love adaptable problem solvers who are eager to meet the evolving needs of the market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support hiring end-to-end and deliver a sharp candidate experience

  • Run onboarding and offboarding for a fully remote, global team

  • Help execute performance and feedback cycles

  • Be a go-to for people's questions, and day-to-day ops

  • Improve People tools, processes, documentation, and internal communication

    as we scale

We expect you to bring

  • Strong execution and ownership mindset

  • Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and async work

  • Very strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Located in EU or Middle East time zones, with availability to support work across additional time zones as required

  • Genuine interest in people, culture, and building high-performance teams

Growth Path

  • 0–6 months: Own People Ops fundamentals, support hiring, become a trusted point of contact, deeply learn the business and culture

  • 6–12 months: Run hiring and performance cycles independently, scale People processes, and own specific areas (onboarding, engagement, tooling)

  • 12–24 months: Operate as a People Ops / People Partner, lead people initiatives end-to-end, and be a core contributor to Douro Labs’ global scale
