SafetyWing (YC W18, $35m Series B) is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to help us successfully chart and execute the path towards a global social safety net and the first country on the internet.
Our products are created by an entirely remote team distributed across the globe and stretching ten time zones while headquartered in San Francisco. We are here to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone.
In this role, you will work directly with the CFO, the Head of Accounting and the Head of Payroll and Benefits as part of a closely-knit Finance team and will be responsible for producing all forward-looking numbers.
We are looking for someone who can own all details relating to our forecast, think big picture about the business, and partner with other teams to make our vision come true. Ideally, you would also be comfortable with fundraising activities such as developing pitch decks, investor models, and the due diligence process.
💻 Your responsibilities will include
- Take full responsibility for our forecasting and any numbers related to the future.
- Build authentic and joyful relationships with team leaders to encourage and inspire ambitious growth plans.
- Support the CFO on the details and contribute to the strategic thinking of senior management.
- Prepare all fundraising marketing materials (presentation & model) and lead due diligence and investor Q&A processes.
