About Atticus
At any given time, 16 million Americans are experiencing a crisis that requires urgent help from our legal system or government. The right assistance could transform their lives. But today, most never get it.
At Atticus, we’re on a mission to tear down the barriers between Americans in crisis and the aid they need. To do that, we’ve built a modern public interest law firm. With a human-centric, tech-forward approach, we’ve become the leading service connecting people with disabilities to the government benefits built to protect them. While this forms the core of our business today, we also help victims of accidents, misconduct, and violence get compensation from insurance.
So far, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of people access over $10B in life-changing aid —and earned over 17,000+ five-star reviews. And we’re just getting started.
We've raised more than $100 million from top VC firms like Fika, Forerunner, GV (Google Ventures), and True Ventures, with ambitions to create a category-defining business helping Americans in need. (We closed our Series C round in April 2025, so we're well-funded for the foreseeable future.) Last year, our team grew from 151 to 210, and we’re not slowing down.
The Job
Marketing plays a vital role in Atticus' success, and our work is deeply rewarding. We have the great responsibility of reaching clients in one of their most challenging moments. We do so with empathy, care, and discernment, drawing on innovative marketing strategies to stand out in a competitive space that is all too often remembered for dubious billboard ads and sell-your-info schemes.
As Growth Marketing Manager at Atticus, you’ll report to the Director of Growth Marketing and will own acquisition across a portfolio of our core channels, including SEM and paid social. You’ll be dually responsible for managing scaled channels and developing new ones. You’ll work cross-functionally with Creative, Product, and Data partners to scale channels, tailor the client experience, and build our data infrastructure.
In a typical week, you might do any or all of the following:
Fully own your portfolio of established channels, developing channel strategy, standing up campaigns, and developing optimization recommendations
Evaluate channel performance, owning weekly reporting and analysis
Own monthly planning and budget optimization with a ROAS lens
Define new channel testing strategies based on experience, market research, and informational interviews; lead the work to test, analyze, and scale
Rigorously manage media buyer agencies and contractors, guiding their weekly priorities and navigating roadblocks as they arise
Lead cross-functional projects with Creative, Product, Engineering, and Design teams to create product experiences that meet the unique needs of our audience, including designing landing pages across our paid channels
Lead market research for your channels, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting, to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive data-informed innovation through continuous performance testing
This role offers a unique combination of features: broad growth marketing responsibility in a fast-growing Series C startup, mentorship from leaders across a variety of disciplines, and autonomy to shape our acquisition strategy as we scale.
You’ll be successful in this role if…
You’ve spent 4+ years since graduating college developing your growth marketing expertise at top digital advertising agencies and as part of in-house marketing teams; you’ve been promoted because of your stellar performance
You have led program strategy across a portfolio of digital channels, including paid search and other paid digital
You have experience using Google and Bing Ads and have a track record of improving paid media campaigns
You have experience with creatively-driven paid channels like Meta and YouTube and past success scaling through rigorous creative testing and iteration
You have strong quantitative analytical skills and are comfortable working in data analytics platforms and data visualization software
You’re an ambitious self-starter; you thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy a strategic challenge
You’re a kind and thoughtful colleague who knows how to shape a great team culture and thoughtfully analyze data and communicate insights
You have a demonstrated commitment to doing good and helping people
Bonus / Nice-to-Have:
Experience using Looker, SQL, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
We are strongly committed to building a diverse team. If you’re from a background that’s underrepresented in tech, we’d love to meet you.

We anticipate the base salary band for this role will be between $150,000 to $180,000 in addition to equity and benefits. The salary at offer will be determined by a number of factors such as candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
Location
This job is fully remote and we’re committed to empowering everyone with flexibility. Work remotely, and travel to LA (on the company dime) as needed to be with your colleagues – usually quarterly, plus offsites. We care a lot about building a great culture and we think some interactions need to happen in person, so we put a lot of thought into retreats, offsites, and other ways to gather.
