Appwrite is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the team and help build reliable, performant, and scalable APIs and developer tools. This role will have a focus on our SDKs, integrations and building demo apps. You must demonstrate experience building different kinds of integrations and demo apps, writing blog posts and other forms of educational content for developers.
You should have a good understanding of web technologies, networking concepts, database design and other computer science fundamentals. Experience with back-end languages such as PHP, Node.js, Python, Dart, Go, Deno, or Ruby is an advantage.
Create demo apps and tutorials to showcase integrations.
- Create educational content like blog posts, tutorials and articles to compliment the demo apps and examples.
- Maintain and improve our SDKs and libraries to ensure an awesome developer experience.
- Collaborate with the developer relations team to prioritize integration ideas and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and improve new and existing product features.
- Contribute to the overall development of our software applications and systems
- Engage with developers in the open-source community who use our products and demonstrate new product features and capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Flutter or Web Technologies.
- Ability to write highly engaging and interactive blog posts, articles and tutorials.
- Experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Ability to learn and adapt to working with multiple programming languages and produce high-quality native code.
- Passion for simplicity and a great developer experience.
- Passion for open-source, building developer tools, and working with our developer community.
- Comfortable working in both monolithic and microservice based architectures.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
