🧘 What we offer

We operate in a fully remote work environment – work from anywhere globally.

You will receive salary and equity compensation, premium health insurance that works in most countries worldwide, travel insurance, a laptop, an office stipend, a minimum of four weeks of vacation per year, and a personal development budget.

We have a minimum of two annual team gatherings. The previous ones were in  Ljubljana, San Francisco, Mexico and Bali. Also, you will be able to attend at least one relevant dev conference yearly.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
Our team thrives on creativity, innovation, and collaboration, and we're seeking a skilled Front-end Engineer to join us in building exceptional user interfaces.

At SafetyWing, we do not have a strong division between tech and product - we are all part of product development and participate in strategic decisions for the company. We believe this is the path to creating great products.

We are on a mission to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone. And we are doing that by creating simple health, insurance, and retirement products for remote workers worldwide as a replacement for national welfare systems.
Our current customers are digital nomads (b2c) and remote companies (b2b).

💻 Languages and technologies we use

  • Kotlin (and some Java) with Micronaut
  • TypeScript with React and NextJS
  • MySQL (with Hibernate and Liquibase)
  • Google cloud platform

🧪 We are looking for someone who has

  • A grasp of JavaScript and React principles.
  • Hands-on experience working with React and developing browser applications.
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics that will contribute to creating visually pleasing interfaces.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and a curiosity to explore and incorporate new developments into your work.
  • Familiarity with Next.js would be a significant advantage.
  • 👋 Please mention that you come from Real Work From Anywhere when applying for this job. This helps us bring you more jobs.
  • Beware of scams! When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay anything.
