SafetyWing (YC W18) is seeking a Community Coordinator to join our Nomad Insurance team and nurture our Ambassadors.
We are building a global social safety net, including health and retirement for remote workers worldwide, as a replacement for national welfare systems. If we succeed, we believe this will help ensure freedom and equal opportunity for everyone, and it is one of the more important tasks of our time that no one else is working on.
💻 Your responsibilities will include:
- Innovate strategies to engage our Ambassadors, refining the Community Hub's content strategy, email communication, and resource library.
- Host virtual events from meetups to webinars, ensuring our Ambassadors find value and opportunities for growth while optimizing gamification for greater participation.
- Manage the influencer outreach lifecycle: from identifying aligned influencers and contract negotiations to quality-assured campaign execution and performance analysis.
- Coordinate Ambassador content, leveraging past successes, aligning with our brand, and maintaining a vibrant Instagram presence.
- Webinar management: engage with potential hosts, craft strategic email promos, and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support the Head of Community in projects, stay ahead with market research, incorporate Ambassador feedback, collaborate with marketing, and drive the growth of our Ambassador community.
🧪 We are looking for someone who
- Has a track record in affiliate marketing, partnership management, or digital marketing and understands affiliate management platforms and tools;
- Has experience in elevating community engagement through virtual events and content strategies;
- Can craft an overarching strategy for managing the nuances of influencer outreach and content;
- Has strong interpersonal skills with a history of successful collaborations across departments.
