🚀 Your mission as a Chief of Staff (“CoS”) to the CEO!

Join our expanding leadership team as a CoS, partnering closely with our CEO to drive our organization to new heights. In this pivotal role, we anticipate your invaluable contribution to enhancing our operational excellence, streamlining decision-making processes, and fostering effective communication throughout our growing ecosystem. By collaborating with the CEO and key stakeholders, you'll have the opportunity to wield substantial influence. As the linchpin connecting our CEO with the entire organization, the CoS plays a vital role in ensuring strategic plans are executed seamlessly. Your strategic insights and cross-functional coordination will optimize efficiency and align our entire team with our overarching strategic objectives. Your expertise is critical to our continued success.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • An extension of the CEO: You will serve as the CEO's trusted advisor, proxy, and coach, contributing to the enhancement of the CEO's effectiveness by supporting decision-making and providing strategic thought leadership. You'll ensure alignment with the CEO's vision and facilitate efficient information flow.

  • Building & enabling the leadership team: You will support the CEO in building a high-performing leadership team by assisting in executive searches and promoting a culture of strategic prioritization. Your understanding of the CEO's vision will guide decision-making in this regard.

  • Managing & communicating organizational strategy: You will work closely with the leadership team to develop and articulate long-term organizational strategies. Emphasizing effective communication, you will align strategic priorities, influence decisions, and promote integrated workflows to improve organizational efficiency.

  • Special projects & change management: Managing multiple concurrent projects, often of a cross-functional or organization-wide nature, will be a key responsibility. You will coordinate stakeholders, address complex challenges, and guide decisions in alignment with strategic goals. This may also involve managing and communicating critical changes across different organizational groups.

  • Operational management & continuous improvement: You will establish operational processes where needed, optimize work processes, and ensure alignment with set milestones. Performance management, goal-setting, and strategic alignment with senior leaders will be part of your focus, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

  • Communication & relationship management: Your role will involve driving integration and alignment across teams and stakeholders. You'll streamline communication, foster accountability and transparency, and navigate complex situations with a focus on positive culture integration.

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Having at least 5 years of previous experience working as a strategic leader in Operations Management roles (such as Chief Operating Officer, Startup Leadership, VP of Operations, General Manager, Management Consultant, or similar).

  • Having strong strategic thinking skills with the capacity to leverage data for informed decision-making.

  • Proactively identifying and solving complex problems, coupled with a bias towards taking decisive action.

  • Exceptional in communication that inspires trust in your abilities and assessments, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Having a growth mindset that encourages continuous learning and resilience in the face of challenges.

  • Proficient in change and project management as well as demonstrating the ability to drive process improvements and navigate organizational change effectively.
