We are looking for people with a passion for the developer relations role to make our fully EVM-compatible zkRollup as easy as possible for developers to build on. You will own the developer onboarding experience and coordinate with the R&D team to reduce the friction of building on Scroll. You will also interface directly with the developer community through outreach events and grant programs.
Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with team members to invent, prioritize, and execute new programs to reach developers while representing their interests within the team. This role will require a high degree of empathy with the dapp developer community, as you will be their advocate with the team. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will prioritize Scroll's open-source, collaborative, and research-driven values when engaging with developers.
Job Duties
- Own the developer onboarding experience to make Scroll as easy as possible for developers to build on.
- Coordinate with R&D team to create and continuously improve documentation and onboarding materials based on developer feedback.
- Organize developer onboarding events such as study groups, talks, and hackathons.
- Design and implement grant programs and content initiatives to accelerate grassroots developer interest and onboarding.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of and integration within the Ethereum community.
- Strong interest in and some knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs and Layer 2 protocols.
- Willingness to travel for community events.
- Prior experience with developer relations strongly preferred.
- Existing connections to crypto developer communities preferred.
