Ava Labs is the team behind Avalanche, an open-source blockchain platform for launching decentralized finance applications, custom networks, and enterprise blockchain solutions. It was founded in 2018 by Cornell computer scientist Emin Gün Sirer together with Kevin Sekniqi and Ted Yin, and was backed early by Andreessen Horowitz, Initialized Capital, and Polychain Capital.
