SafetyWing (YC W18) is looking for a Claims Experience Lead to drive the way in changing how our members go through the claims process. Your mission would be to ensure that SafetyWing delivers the best claims experiences globally.

๐Ÿ’ป Your responsibilities will include
  • Streamline our claims handling to be fast, straightforward, and empathetic.
  • Lead our Claims team, ensuring they are joyful and productive and we have enough people to assist with incoming requests.
  • Step in on complex cases with a mix of operational know-how and genuine care, ensuring every member feels valued.
  • Collaborate with tech teams and the Insurance Operations Manager to innovate and improve our processes, making claims handling smoother and smarter.
  • Partner with Claims QA to audit and review the performance of our teams and partners.
  • Develop and lead training and knowledge sharing that empowers your team to build operational excellence and be great at what they do, from talking to members to handling the details of their claims.
  • Use data and insights to tell the story of how we're doing, where we can improve, and celebrate our wins.
